Can ya put a turbo on a b16a sir1(first generation) with out f***ing up the vtec?

Can ya put a turbo on a b16a sir1(first generation) with out f***ing up the vtec?
I'm thinking about putting a turbo on my b16a sir1(first generation). I have been doing some research on this topic and i havent seen anything about the turbo having conflicts with the vtec. So its probably ok to put a turbo on and the vtec and they will be fine.....so does anybody have any info on this?
