Hey guys out of no where last night my civic wagon started making a rubbing sound only when I turned right. The rubbing sound came from the driver side.
I have never heard a sound like this before, it was kind of like metal on metal. Almost like a train on railroad tracks. It rotated and faded whith the wheels turning and was more pronounced when I was almost at a stop.
Only mods are coilovers stock struts and extended top hats.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

check to make sure the dust shield isnt touching your brake rotor. Happens all the time. did it to my crx and even my 06 rsx at one point. if it rusted and fell apart it might be pinched in between the rotor and something else or it is just bent

Man that is exactly what it sounds like! I didn't want to sound like a noob and ask if my dust shields are falling off.
I will try to look at it tomorrow before work.

from my expiriences, usually the problems that happen with older hondas are the dumb simple ones. Everyone likes to jump to conclusions thinking they have huge expensive problems but dont look for simple things like dust shields, pinched wires or hoses or even dead batteries.
