Its is cold as hell in Missouri, where I unfortunately am stationed. I was wondering if there was anyone with a similar problem to mine, the heater controls DO NOT WORK. Well, sometimes they light up. And the back windshield deicer works. And when on high the blower motor puts out, and when not on high it puts out... excruciatingly slowly, and wont turn off. The selector controls dont do jack, and recirculation I have no idea if it works.AC blows cold. So I think my problem is the blower speed adjuster and my position control. heat control works... kind of.

 

prob need to resolder the connections on the back of the control unit. pretty common problem unfortunately.

 

Ya out of the 3 BB2's I've owned, all of them had the same issue. Sometimes a whack on the dash would fix it telling me it's bad/loose connections.

 

I have re soldered and got all my lights back, ON TWO UNITS. I bought another one, we plugged it into my buddys 94 lude and they both worked perfectly. However, After installed in my lude, the position selectors wont engage (always front vents) and it only blows on high.

 

yes, both were tested in both ludes. neither works fully in mine. Heater temp control(hot-cold) works, AC isnt charged bc i just replaced Accumulator, but it worked on his. Recirc turns on on both and back windshield de icer works on both.
