F/S - 2001 Silverstone S2000 - 83k - Stock
SOLD SOLD SOLD
I bought this car 2 1/2 years ago living in Central Florida. It runs flawlessly, drives beautifully, and satisfies unconditionally. Please keep in mind, I'm open to reasonable offers, but I don't Need to sell this car, and I don't necessarily desire to sell this car. Just looking for funding for a new project, and I'm willing to wait patiently for it. No trades please. The title is clean and can be paid off and obtained from my lender in a matter of days upon serious inquiry.
Engine: The engine is a bone stock F20c. No internal work, no bolt ons. It runs strong and smooth, and I've never had any fuss from it. If memory serves correctly I put new plugs in it soon after the purchase... but that concludes my work under-hood, beyond routine maintenance.
Interior: The interior is in good shape overall. Door panels and dash are clean and damage free. Drivers seat is in good condition, as well as the passenger seat, except that the passenger leather seems pretty stiff on the bottom half. Drivers side carpet has a tear on the 'hump', all other carpet is in great shape. Everything is stock.
Exterior: This car is in great shape. Paint is clean and has plenty of shine. It was well protected from the florida sun, however, it obviously isn't Perfect. There are some miscellaneous dings and scratches, notably: a few rock chips on the passenger front quarter, a small chip in the hood that has been touched up, and a dime-size ding / scratch in the trunk lid near the keyhole. The car appears to have had the rear 'diffusors' in front of the rear wheel wells as there is a small hole on either side where they would have mounted.
Misc. Good: I don't know the previous owner personally but he or she appears to have taken pride in this car, as have I since owning it. The first purchase for me was a custom cover from California Car Covers to protect the paint. It was cleaned and waxed weekly while living in FL and has been stored in a temperature controlled garage for winters spent in IL. I've done my best to keep this car running and looking as good or better than it did the day I bought it. At asking price, the car will include the custom cover w/ storage bag and a tonneau cover that I bought which turned out to be for an AP2 - do with as you please. I also have a poly front lip for the car that I never installed. The brand escapes me but it seemed to mock-fit pretty well.
Misc. Issues: She needs tires. The fronts are at ~30%, rears at.... 0%. I'm highly inclined to handle the rear tires prior to sale for safety of transport. The soft top is in questionable shape, with a hole on either side in the typical place, and a crack in the rear plastic window. An upgrade to a top with a glass rear window would be ideal, but I've never driven the car in anything but sunshine so it didn't matter. Top Down FTW.
I'm sure i'll be adding information as it comes to mind but please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns, offers, suggestions, or inquiries.

Aftermarket parts I noticed incase you didnt know:
Fpr (Fuel Pressure Regulator)
Strut Tower Bar
a/f gauge DRILLED into the pillar w/ pod
Ebayish/Blox type brand Oil cap
Clear Sidemarkers

Haha. Good eye. The oil cap I was aware of, the clear side-markers aren't on the car anymore. I swapped them back to amber. Strut tower / FPR I never noticed to be aftermarket I guess. A/F gauge is not connected and I've been meaning to pull that assembly out and replace it, not a fan.
