Icon6 O2 Sensor changes depending on the year?

I just bought a 2005 Acura RSX Type-S and it needs a new O2 Sensor. I bought one from ClubRSX.com and its on its way.

After some research I found that the O2 Sensor seems to change for 2005-2006. However ClubRSX says it fits.

Will the O2 sensor still work properly?

Does anyone know what the difference is between the different O2 sensors?

Here is a link to the page where the info for the sensor is.

I'm pretty sure they read different... thats why when you buy kpro for an 05 they make you buy the O2 sensor for the 02-04.... I think it is how the wideband a/f is read... I know they plug in the same.

I emailed them and they stated it is not the right one. They stated it is for KPro like you stated.

I went ahead and ordered the right one from Amazon.com

i have a question about the 02 censor. if i buy header and an exhaust and all that and eliminate the 02 censor by putting in that little cap thingy will it mess with the car in any way, will it make the gas mileage change at all or anything.

i just had an exhaust put on and a test pipe with bungs so the o2 sensors are plugged in but i dont have a cat anymore, only difference i notice is my check engine light, other than that feels like a little more power, havent noticed a change in gas mileage but ive heard once i get kpro and it tuned they can tune it to make the sensors work properly with no cat. would like to hear something about this from someone who knows more than me though.

you can eliminate the check engine light with a CEL eliminator just look it up, you can make one too, thats what i did with my 03 civic when i put the exhaust on it.
