best/safest cam for my build B16
What an intelligent response. OP I doubt you will make 180WHP out of this build, but you will come close. I presonally would go with Pro 1's after reading a few articles. I know what motor you refering to and no I doubt you will make 180WHP with higher compression and those cams. You will come close though. With some port work and a nicer header (not Ebay crap) and a really good tuner you would be more likely to reach your goal.

I miss- understood your first post. You are planning on using ITR pistons in a USDM Gs-R block and putting your B16 head on it? If that is the case you should make right around 180 whp.
Out of all those cams listed, I would have picked ITR cams first, Skunk2 stage 2 tuner cams next and pro 1 cams a distant last as far as "best" cams that will work well on a 1.6 -1.8 build.
i still stick by getting a better tranny then a ls..
Well the thing is that you want to use the cams on both builds potentially. ITR would be excellent on the b16a, and decent on the B18c but the other two cams you mentioned will make more power. The Skunk tuner 2 cams will work ok on the B16a and work really well on the B18c. The pro 1 cams will be a little large on the 1.6 and will be right at home and make the most power on the 1.8L but not much more than the s2s2's in VTEC. The pro's will also be a little harder to tune as well than the other two types.
You could but I think the S2S2's would still beat that cam setup in your B16a so I would personally pick them as your best overall choice for both engines.
