I need suggestions!!
Hi all!!!
I have a bit of a dilemma. I have a 1986 CRX DX (carbed) that I want to sell and then buy another honda (with a backseat!!) for me and my newborn son. Here's the stats on my rex...
red/grey ext. blk int.
no rust (that i can see)/dents (minor dings)
new tires (only 2 weeks old)
new clutch and clutch plate in may '02 w/ warranty
161,xxx miles
needs a new battery/muffler
a/c and heat work excellent
no radio/speakers (that sucks!!
burns oil slightly
due for a tune-up, but i have done all oil changes.
My ?'s/....
1. How much should I sell it for?
2. what should my next car be? Remember, I need a backseat and I want another Honda!!!
Thanks guys!!!

Hey you're the girl that got the clutch replaced a while ago? I think you might be able to sell it for 1000 like SuperCivic said. I'd go with a 92-95 Civic hatch.
you remember me?? i feel loved
!!
thanks for the sugestions, now, what would be the fastest way to sell it? Slap a "for sale sign on it? I really dont have $$ to spend to put it on autotrader.com or something like that... I miht just print up my own signs...
you guys are right... i like those 92-95 hatches, but by grace of good luck a friend of a friend wants me to buy his 93 civic ex coupe w/ a 94(??) delsol motor, air intake, and an Apex'i exhaust. Should I go for it or buy my own and start from scratch? I've driven it once and it seemed slow to me.

EF Sedan is what I got. I take my baby to my parent's house and the 2 older ones to school everyday.
Its easier to put the car seat in the back seat.
Integra Sedans are really nice too.

If you get $1000 for it, your'e lucky...I expect it to sell for around $750, so ask for $1000 and settle for anything above $750 to give your buyer a "deal" and you get what you are looking for...
The Del Sol came with a variety of different motors so you have to check on that...The best motor that came in the Del Sol is the B16a3...170 HP...I would buy that if the swap was done properly and the engine/tranny was well maintained...
