spacer size to clear front integra caliper bracket?
I don't know if this belongs in "Brakes" or "Wheel and Tire", but I'm having some fitment issues with the wheels I just ordered. The inside of the spokes hit the front brake caliper bracket. I asked local shop about grinding it down and they said it'd be too much to be safe. Unless there is a brake solution (they also called Wilwood and said their kits wouldn't solve to problem), they suggested spacers. Would anyone know offhand what size spacer would be needed to clear the caliper bracket? I wanna go as small as possible because the wheels are already wide.

a way to test it is to mock up your wheel w/metal washers first then measure the thickness so u wont need to buy the wrong sizes. good luck

like just make my own quick spacers? like they could be cardboard?
also, does brake pad thickness play a part in the width of the bracket?

I would find out the thickness of what spacer you would need and you can buy 3 and 5 mm spacers for like $10 or $15 dollars

Can you spin the wheel and it just kinda hits or is it so much the wheel won't move? You can get universal spacers at any auto parts store. 5mm is the thickest you can go on stock studs. Anything over that you will need extended wheel studs.
just found this thread:

which i think answers my question as far as spacer size. In the future though, shouldn't a big brake kit, or at least a larger rotor (e.g. ITR upgrade) fix the clearance issue?
