Default CYP Sensor

Hey all...where is the CYP Cylinder Position Sensor located on the 97 B18C? Is it in the distributor or located near the crank in the block?

Also would someone know what ecu pinout it is wired to? Thanks in advance!

I don't know the answers to those questions!

But, I know someone will recommend you get the service manual (Helms). So, I'll say it before anyone else does.

I don't own an Integra so it would be quite useless to buy one to answer this question. I thought that is what these forums are for

My bad. The manual covers your engine, though. The integra service manual covers the b18c1, b18c5, and the b18b. Someone knows on here, I'm sure. I was just pointing to the obvious fact that the information is available and anyone working on their engine should have the corresponding service manual.

Really? Cause when the H22a went OBDII (96), the CYP sensor moved from inside the dist to the crank. That's why you can't advance the timing because there is no CYP sensor in the dist. to fool.

The ECU pinout on a 94 integra is B11, and I'm going to guess it is C14 on an OBDII car.
