@WOW---really? that sucks! well...bro it was one of those situations...it fell off as i was driving, needed it to be fixed, Dad was outta town so.....have u changed them urself? is there a DIY thread u can post?
you dont need to rent those tools. all you need is some socket wrenches and sockets, ball joint remover or just a good pry bar and thats it really. Oh and probably the most important tool, a I believe it is a 32mm socket for the spindle nut. Dont know if there is a DIY thread but hit me up and I can guide you step by step.
DLEWIS .... here is a link gl its cake even if u dont work on cars its easy its removing nuts and puting them back lol the link is for a civic but its all basicly the same bolts and bolt location first one will prob take bout 45 mins next one prob be lik a 15 min thing lol i have chnage axles on the side of the highway in mins . gl here ya go hope it helps out next time . https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/faq-axle-replacement-tutorial-pics-382416/
Also to remove that lower ball joint, here is a trick that i use with a Sears craftsman socket:

Also, cb7tuner has about 2 DIY threads that I have used once or twice with pics.
Check the DIY threads.
