My S2000 started torque steering tonight???? WTF?
So I hopped in my car to go to wallmart tonight and started to notice at 60mph or any hwy speed I could roll into the throttle and it would start to walk the back of the car around... I would actually have to correct it with the steering wheel. And when I let off the gas I feel it go back straight where it was. This is very anoying. normally it just picks up solid and straight. Im not shure if it has anything to do with it but earlyer in the day I did do a few doughnuts in an empty parking lot with a buddy. Did I break a mount or somthing that keeps the rear wheels on track or somthing??? there is no knocking or clanking or any noise at all it is just pulling weird when i roll into the throttle while cruzing down the road. This is my first s2k so I figured you guys could point me in the right direction. I plan on fixing this crap like tomarrow ASAP! Control arms? rear end mounts? What can break or go wrong to cause this? I appreciate any help! Thanks guys.

No its deff not an axle problem it still drives to good... and yes the tire press is perfect I checked that first thing. I just put a whole set of g force's on it last week. It torques worse the further down I mash the accelerator and then straightens up so to speak when I let of the gas. Its enough to make your head move in the car. You cant tell at all at low speeds tho... just like 55 mph and up it will do it.

Check the alignment. Maybe an adjuster slipped when you did the donuts. If you had broken compnents, you'd be hearing/feeling it.

When you put your new tires on I assume you got your wheels balanced. So when you did the donuts one of your wheels weights may have come off... though that would be noticeable all of the time. More so when you mashed it though.
This is a real stretch, but it could be a broken belt in the tire. I had that happen and it was really a strange issue. Obvious at some speeds, non existent at times.
I'd inspect your wheels and rotate the tires and see what that does if you can't find anything obvious when you take a look under the car.

A broken belt causes horrendous shaking and pulling at all speeds. You might have had radial pull due to a shifted belt or manufacturing defect.
I knew this was going to be air pressure related. I assumed that the OP checked air pressure AFTER the problem occured. Never assume. Because you make an *******...outta yourself.
yeah when i read it i thought hmm sounds like the same thing that happened to me the other day haha i had a rear tire with like less than 10psi in it. pretty funny how the car drives with a low tire.
Ive had similiar issues on a 240sx when the camber (maybe toe) adjustment bolt was loose....it went from what youre saying to VERY unstable as it became looser.
mine did this, it was a rear tire starting to give way at the belt. Looked fine on the outside, but not on the inside once demounted
The walking is usually caused by a difference in the total spring rate on one side vs. the other. Total spring rate includes the spring, damper, tire flex, wheel deflection, chassis bending, etc. Low tire pressure is often the culprit: most S2000 drivers will notice 2 psi or even 1 psi of difference between rear tires.

haha jk, glad it worked out to be a simple fix.
