Default Cracked Rim Please Look

I slid into a curb and cracked my front left rim. The tire seems just fine and its been about 5 days. The balance is obviously off, but how long do you think it can hold up? I'm really not trying to buy a new rim for this car anyway because i was planning on trading it in within the next couple of months. its pushed in some and theres a crack running through the top part but thats about it. I don't think that it has gotten any much bigger. Please let me know what ya'll think.

Thanks

That's scary as hell, there's no way i'd drive anywhere with that. Get a steelie or another rim.

You can take it to a tire shop and have them repair it for like 50 bucks or so. But if it holds air it should be fine...unless the crack gets bigger.............

Find yourself one stock steelie. As cheap as $5 if not free.

you can get a rim from a junkyard with a decent tire for 25 bux.. id sure a hell not trust riding on that and risk a blow out...they tend to be a bit sketchy and scary when ur rolling 60-70mph with someone riding rite next to you

Get a replacement wheel NOW!!! The tire could be hit or miss if it is can be saved depends if the belts or beed where damaged in the impact.

replace it asap.. you CAN drive on it (i wouldn't) but then you risk damaging wheel bearings, various bushings and all that good stuff.. at least find a steelie for now

I hope I'm not driving next to you with my window down when that tire goes...

Stay the hell away from Ohio with that wheel.

It could be fixed, but probably more than $50. It'd have to be dismounted, cleaned really well, welded and sanded smooth.
