Icon6 about bearing clearances

I have a DB1 Integra.
I'm building a b18 ls/vtec with b18c1 head.
The car will be around 300 whp with GT2876 turbo.
The crank is stock with CP pistons (9:1 cr) and eagle rods.

I have ACL Race bearings (the OEM ones are too expensive in my country)

My aim on my car is just street driving for a long period time.

What should be the clearances and other details on mounting the crank and rod bearings for maximum durability ? What can be your opinions ?

Get a haynes manual at your local parts store or online. it will tell you everything you want to know including OEM clearances just follow that. Depending on your HP goals you can than determin if you want to be on the looser or tighter side of thoes specs but none the less thoes books are a great help. Goodluck

I have the original service manual and it has the clearances for stock LS motor. But on 15 psi of boost, do these clearances should be the same as stock ? or different. This is the question..

Yes stock. Stock gives you a range thats acceptable you may want to be on the looser end depending on your HP but yes People just follow the service manual.

Generally speaking, if you want maximum power and plan on rebuilding the motor more frequently, you set the clearances up a little on the loose side. In your case, I would set your clearances to OEM specs, to have maximum longevity at the expense of some power (minimal).

set them to the larger side of the oem limits. something like between .0015 and .002, with the middle main bearing being the largest size. get a helms manual and read up

I'll set the clearances on the looser side of the manual.
