I will. Sending u that head in a week or so to.

Only reason for this thred... by buddie did the 1-2-1. So I was wondering if anyone if the SF shift selector is as affective as the long shifter ( in preventing the 1-2+1 ). If so its a hell of a lot cheaper.

It will not help your 1-2-1 issue. Its a stock replacement part that it built stronger thats all.

121 is all in the the way you handle the ****, but i think the SF part would help since it has a stronger return spring combo

Actually, it will help prevent the 1-2-1, as it has a stronger spring assembly to help keep the shifter in the 3-4 gate.. We use them on ALL of our transmissions, dogbox or synchro, the SpeedFactory part is a nice piece.. Please dont confuse SpeedFactory with Mfactory.

Speedfactory has billet shift selector and reenforced some things= sick!
M- Factory has solid shifter bushings which is a nice combo too.

Oh, and we use them in conjunction with the T1 Long shifter setup, but if you are using both and dont have the longer of the shift levers, you may want to have SpeedFactory use the stock return spring, or it will take a lot of force to change into the 1-2 gate..

I run both, I like the springs being stiff.

i'm gonna use just the upgrade piece for selector only. I already have a stiffer spring and 1-2-1 my car just as easy. In the heat of the moment when you make that fatal mistake you may be underestimating your strength. But whatever

need something for kseries trans too. they seem to slide right back into the other gear sometimes lol. i've tried the hybrid box and they seem a little too stiff going to the next gear so that may be worse I would think.

We are also using both the T1 G-Force shifter kit and our SF-Modified SCHA. It takes a fairly high amount of effort to get into the 1/2 gate, but we have no issues with it and like the added pressure kicking it over into the 3/4 position to help insure against a 1-2-1 or 2-3-2 mis-shift.

The stiffness tends to be an issue with the guys that have the shorter or cut down Long shifters. We recommend those running such a setup to get the SCHA with the stock spring.

Those of us running the Long-Long aren't having a problem getting it in. lol

FYI, there are 6 areas of the SCHA that are modified and/or strengthened aside from the upgraded spring, so 7 modifications in total with the spring. This addresses all the areas of SCHA failure that we have seen from many race teams in drag & road-race use with both synchro & dogboxes.
