Tranny more reliable with 24.5" or 26" slick?
is a stock gsr tranny going to be more reliable with a 26" than a 24.5? due to haveing more give in the 26?
aiming for around 700whp, will i be still in 4th @ 9krpm with 24.5??

most will say the 24.5 is easier on the trans.
me shifting my car at 11k, with b16 1-2-3, i was trapping 9600 with a gsr 4th gear.

See the numbers for yourself....

24.5 is still going to do a number on the trans. It's very dependent on how you drive too.

what about on a car that doesnt run alot of rpm, or dont have different trans choices? you pretty much have tires to get the final drive/mph where you need? stock tire diameter is 25" and with 24.5" close to rev limiter.
