Default Which transmission to use???

i have a 1990 ef that had a d16 in it and started knockin. so my buddy sold me a mini me d15b7 with a z6 head to throw back in it.(only 13 bucks) so i cant complain. But the only problem is that the tranny for it is hydro and i really dont wanna go throug the trouble in conveting to hydro. So my question is which cable tranny can i use for my mini swap??
Ive searched to see if i could just use my zc tranny but everyone said that it wouldnt work.Which 5 spd tranny will work???

do you still have the trans from the d16? or is that the zc trans you wanted to use? the zc trans needs a halfshaft for the axles that wont bolt up to the back of that b7. use a cable trans from any 88-91 civic/crx dx-si. 88 uses diff clutch and flywheel of course
