New wheels for ITR, opinions/fitment?
I've browsed through tons of threads, even though I'm new here, I search search search.
Basically I'm getting some new shoes for my py itr this weekend and just want to confirm what I've tenatively picked out will fit okay.

I wanted the 16" cw jdm itr wheels veryyyyy badly....Since used selection is so slim, I've decided to go a bit lower end but new instead.
The work 11r don't have much to choose from in 16" so I have it down to 16x6.5 with a 42 offset until the shop finds out if they can get them a little wider or in any other offsets. I didn't find much on 16x6.5 wheels with a lower offset clearing calipers, but I know my current selection should be fine. If I bump it up to a 16x7 if possible maybe around 35 offset, will I have issues clearing anything? I will buy tires based on how much room I have so I'm not to worried there.
Also really wanted the 16" ce28, but way to hard to find used up here and they're $3500 new
Thanks for any feedback guys.

lol sounds familular.... How close are you to fender at 8" wide with 35 offset?
Sorry, I was looking mainly for used Volks cuz I didn't want to dish out for new ones, so imo work<volk, the jdm 16"s were cheaper than everything but closest I found was Quebec or Cali and I would want to inspect them first

how about buddy club QF?
their way cheaper, they weigh virtually the same as ce28n's and come in good sizes.
couldnt find ce28n in 16x7 weight's so i used a different size for comparison to the te37's.
Volk TE37 Forged 16x7 11.2lbs-----------Buddy Club P1 QF Forged 16x7 11.1lbs
Volk TE37 Forged 15x7 9.2lbs------------Volk CE28N Forged 15x7 9.1lbs
you can get them here, http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/me...e=BUDDYCLUB_QF

if you want just a standard fitment 16x6,5 is fine, 42 offset is the stand volk offset for civics and integras so dont worry about that.
theres no reason to go with a 8" wheel unless you want to run a 225 or 245 tire which will definitley start running into clearance issues if you are lowered/running fender liners
and theres no reason to turn away from volks at 3500 for 16"
only chumps pay the volk retail prices for new wheels, and if you want a better selection/deal of stuff you can have right now then you can always buy used

You'll need to roll your fenders to get that size to work. It looks good, but it'll compromise the car a bit. Plus, complete overkill for a daily driver or weekend toy unless you need to run a wide tire.
16x7 +42 is perfect in all aspects and is fine for a daily driver/weekend toy.

I had 16x7 +42mm CE28Ns and they fit perfectly. I had zero rubbing issues other than rubbing on the outside fender at full lock under compression.
Still, finding them used is going to be tough.

running 16x7 42+ or 41+ (or so i was told) RPF-1s.. wished they were a lil closer to fender.. maybe a small spacer can fix it..
Thanks everyone.
^ I tried to order those exact specs a few days ago from a company who had a good price on the last set of them. But after figuring out shipping they had already sold
I decided against the works because they only came in that one size and we was pretty weak.... Not that I want hellawide or anything, but 16x6.5 is lame.
Still looking for something good condition used.

So more a question about tire size but whats preferred size of rubber for 16 x 7 +42?
210 or 215? Was thinking about going 215 but would I have any issues with rubbing? Will it look kinda doughy? ( I mean like thick or kinda big on the wheel)

I ran a 205/45/16 bridgestone re01r on my 16x7 +42 TE37s and it was a perfect fit. You can run a 215/40 on there as well for about the same width (I think the Azenis was one tire in that size for the 16"). 225 will probably be too balloony and a 195 will stretch a little so I wouldn't recommend those sizes.
Oh and to he op, I don't know if you bought wheels yet but I noticed you're in Vancouver as well and I believe garage5 has a set of jdm 16's for sale in white.
