So I have been reading a lot about set-ups similar to what my set-up is planned to be:
Head:
b16 head(decked .002 and pnp'd)
Supertech valves(1mm o.s. on the intake and exhaust)
Supertech guides, springs, and retainers
Bisimoto Cams(pre-owned, made tons of power to 12k on buddy's boost set-up)
Custom breather box
Block:
B20b (no decking or anything)
Eagle rods
King race bearings
RS Machines 12/1 pistons
Custom breather box
Tranny:
SC-4
Exedy hd pressure plate
Fidanza 7lb. flywheel
Now my question is:
Are these cams too big? They were made for a "near race" motor. Bisi wanted them to make my buddy's car scream as an all motor. Then he went boost and bent a valve. I don't have the spec card on the cams, but I know they are a nasty all motor cam. All I've been able to see, is people claying their motor. If that is what I have to do, then that is what I'll do, but would like to have a bit of "educated" foresight. Thanks in advance!

Are you referring to the ITR RS rep. pistons in your build? If so P2V clearances should not be an issue beings the block is not decked and the milling on the head isn't enough to make a difference.
If it were my build Pro 1's or 2's would be my cam choice. Or some RM24's
Tuning and cam degreeing is key.

I just saw a set of pistons on ebay that said the c/r would be in the neigborhood of 12.0/1. I want something that is a bit more aggresive than the pro 2's, as this will be more of a fun car than a commuter. I will be getting the tuning done in Salt Lake City by Jasen Penmen. So tuning and cam degreeing will not be a problem.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to actually talk to Bisi? I wasn't able to get him on the phone. Is there a magical phrase?
I've yet to see a b series cam from bisi perform..boosted vs na apps are different 12k? full of **** i think so.
Your setup would love pro1's or pro2's.

get the specs from Bisi or else you can degree them and find their lift/duration, opening/closing events so you have an idea of how big they are. Usually piston to valve clearance isn't an issue with minimal material being taken off. You should pay close attention to valve-to-valve clearance though being that you are running both oversize on the intake/exhaust valves.
Another note, if they have over 260* duration then most likely they are going to making power in the higher revs and will be considered a big cam.

Ill upload the vid as soon as I can get it onto my computer. This isn't a debate, just asking as this is my first n/a build. Need a bit of info, from THOSE WHO KNOW! Thanks for the bump though.

Again, this is not a debate thread. If it were I would have uploaded the video before the statement so I didn't have to hear this horsesh*t. I just have a hard time beliving that a custom Bisi cam won't make more power than a mass poduced S2 P2. And that was not the question here either. The question was to see if there was, by chance, anyone who had run a B20-Vtec set-ups with a large cam. Furthermore to see if said people had any idea about what the p-v clearences might be. Please only constructive input from now on.
Hahaha I just realized why you made this thread
If you had actually read what I said in the other guys thread I said specificlly that you could not use bigger cams then itrs without CHANGING THE PISTONS
Your swapping your pistons, you'll be fine
Pull your head out your *** and read EVERYTHING and you might learn something

your a moron, plain and simple, don't try and profile me cause your head is shoved too far up your *** to comprehend a post
