Ok my GSR started throwing a code 23 every once and a while. once a week or so, then twice a week, now as soon as i hit 3000 it hits.

So Im assuming the Knock Sensor went bad, because it didn't come up plugged.
But giving that OEM knock sensor is $160, i wanted to see my other options before i dropped half a weeks pay on the stupid little thing. maybe find out how to test it?

Ive seen them on EBAY for like $40, but are they any good?

Can you use ANY honda Knock Sensor? A6? Y8? GSR? B16?

I was told that vtec wont kick without a working knock, or wiyth a code on. But mine still does.

Any help on a cheaper method would be wonderfull.

Oh and im only going to be using it for about a week. I need no CEL's in the system so i can pas BAR. Then the motors coming out for my LS-v.

any honda knock sensor will work. the A6 and Y8 did not have knock sensors
