Default Im rebuilding a d16a1 from a 89 integra rs!

Ok so I picked up a clean looking 89 integra rs, bone stock except for coilovers and intake. I have about 500$ to work with and I plan on rebuilding it starting this weekend. It still runs like a champ with 225k, doesnt smoke and is pretty quick. The problem is that I cant find any FULL rebuild kits. Ebay has some for like 230$ that include................

Full Gasket Set
Graphite head gasket
Intake manifold gasket
Exhaust manifold gasket
Valve cover gasket
Viton valve stem seals
Camshaft seals
O-rings, Seals
Oil pan gasket,
Front seal
Rear main seal
Oil seal and other small gaskets

Water Pump

Complete Belt Kit
Timing Belt
Tensioner (made in Japan)

Pistons With Complete Ring Set

But while im rebuilding it I wanna use the other 270$ for new rods and valves but I cant find any kits for either. Also is this kit even worth doing? I mean with 225k what other things should I worry about? Anyways I need some help finding oem or aftermarket engine internals for a d16a1 I cant find anything anywhere! Some advice please!

i just have one thing to say if you are buying a rebuild kit NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER buy one off of ebay. Just because a certain part was made from japan doesnt mean that its great. my advice search for oem parts, i never had problems with this site.

Unfortunatly the d16a1 does not have a lot of following anymore and parts are getting really hard to find for them. I have recently went through all the seals on mine and took while to find them all. Best advice don't buy anything buy factory seals. I put a oriely's or some parts store v/c gasket on mine and it leaked worse than the petrified one that was on it.

Good luck with your build but try your best to buy OEM parts otherwise you will have problems.
