i've gotten some pretty sweet deals like that too. my vertical saw only cost me $100. they are over $3k new. it costs me more for 3 replacement blades than what i paid for it!

Recently our old shop had a $14,000 Hydmech bandsaw sold at auction for only $3500.

It's surprising the deals you can find right now since manufacturing took such a hit.

I'd look into Enco and Fastenal for the blades.

Scotchman has the worst prices for blades & sharpening. We use a local sharpening place that gets us new 14" blades for about $120 sharpened to our spec's. Average resharpening cost is about $12. If they have to retooth it's about $20. I resharpen about 50 blades at a time, so our rates may be reflective of bulk sharpening.

The best way to get blades is to buy used cold saws. When I bought our adige ts-71b, I got roughly 300 blades with it for free.

I get my coldsaw blades from Nap Gladu. They have a location in Quebec, Canada and Indiana, USA which is convenient for both parties. I bought 4 blades form them recently and they were $131.56 each which was the best deal I have found so far on coldsaw blades. Im very satisfied with the quality of the blades. They can make them to your specs too.
