What to trade RSX-S for? Eg RDH or 4dr GSR
Ok so i am looking to trade my 2002 RSX-s for either a 4dr with a GSR and JDM front end or a RHD EG civic with a LSvtec.... here aare the cars details.
4 Door Gs integra: I have driven and liked, jsut a little low for me so i might want to buy new lowering springs. and will have steelies, no rims.
GSR swap
ls tranny
JDM front end
cut springs/missmatched also.
clean interior
Steelies tho since he wants to keep his rims (i'm not pleased)
Has heat ac
94 EG Si hatch: I have not driven it yet. but comes with some sic wheels.
RHD swap with rhd firewall welded on.
ls vtec swap with ls tranny
Jdm interior
nice rims
5 lug NSX brake conversion all around.
No heater or ac but i can throw $200 and get a heater set up.
has cracked windshield.
and was not starting when i got there, he said was jsut a battery.

was trying to, but no one will trhow any cash on top of their trades. I get the usual "oh my cars swap is worth more then your car!" BS..... But also my car isnt in perfect condition. needs 2nd gear Syncro replaced along with a clutch. also has 177k mi. but runs great.
I really wanted to get a EG with b series plus like $1000 on top to fix any problems and to help me move. but have gotten no offers for trade plus cash. thats why its so hard. i have no room to add my style to the cars.

4 dr teg with jdm front i would switch for, there is just some things that need to be fixed on it....plus finding one in white and a clean body is hard to find...the trans sucks ***** on it tho....i know cuz that is the same thing i have in my DA....i would ask for some cash on top, but an 02 rsx-s value is only like $7k per kbb....i tried selling/trading my 02 rsx-s, only got a few offers but nothing enticing which is the same as what you are experiencing...sucks the market isnt good, no one wants to buy they just want to trade straight up...best offer i got was a built drag eg plus $2k....didnt do it tho, found a local trade but it kicking my *** now with all the **** i have to fix on it
Ya he is taking out the b16 trans to put that LS in it.... AND taking his rims off..... but it is a clean *** body. so yeah I dont know what imma do!!! Ya but the 4dr KBB is like $2500 at best lol. and the EG is $2000 at best.
hmm yeah would only cost like $300 to get my trans back to good working order. $98 for the syncro and $150 for the clutch. hmm maybe i should keep it now lol!! but its to expensive to fix if something goes wrong. especialy where im moving to. Missery! i mean missouri!

Even the "dont trade ur RSX u Fn idiot!" ones. or the " Those cars are dirt!" lol. i need some input! im not the most knowledgeable about cars but i like em and i try to learn as much as possible by doing my own repairs. havnt had any problems with the repairs i do either so i seem to be doing alright.

I'd probably go for the teg since I like JDM front ends and don't trust rhd conversions.
Although I'd probably just keep the RSX.

i would keep the rsx, i have an ep3 which is nowhere near as nice as the type s, but i love it because it is way more comfortable and better made than swapped cars with cut springs. i have owned a jdm front integra and an eg hatch, it gets old real quick ...

I would keep the RSX or sell it. Dont go down to an older, junkier car just because it has a few parts on it. Either fix up the RSX or buy something closer to what you want.
The 4 door teg is what ive always wanted. the GSr swap is a bonus. jdm front same. oh and its a 98 GS 4dr model. not a 94 like i previously stated. i have a buddy that races hondas and he used to have GSR in his eg hatch. i saw it hit the 10 sec club. This is my first B series. So im excited. Picked it up today. my rsx, seemed to always have something wrong with it and it was never a cheap fix. Im glad to be out from under the RSX repair bills! Hello widely available GSR parts!

I'd keep the RSX. But eh, thats just me. It is actually hard these days to sell any car. You'd have to give a really good deal to sell a car these days. RSX type s with 177k needing tranny work will not get you 7k. Realistically, maybe 5500.
Personally, I'd go ahead and keep it.
Fvck ANY EG hatch. It's not a car, it's a toy. I'd also be more than willing to bet along with the RHD swap he removed/didn't keep/car just doesnt have AC, heat, PS, PW, a roof, ect.
The Teg is probably better, but LS trans is going to kill any fun that you have with it (or the EG since it would also get it).
Basically it sounds like you just dont want to have to fix the drivetrain issues, but also think since your car's newer it is still worth more.

I mean, a CRX isn't worth ****, but do you think someone would realistically trade for instance, a K20 turbo, JDM front, fresh paint, nice interior, nice suspension on Volks CRX for say...an 05 EP3 that has daily life scars/miles/blemishes?
That EP should be wort more, and statistically, the CRX owner SHOULD be happy,but this is Moddedcarville, those rules go out the window.

ha.. ive been looking into trading my ep for and older honda, it just doesnt seem worth it. my insurance is real high for my ep3, mostly my fault but i did pay it off last month, so when my next bill comes ill have a better idea of what im going to do. if i had a teg or a 5th gen with a b-series swap i wouldnt have collision on it.. chassis that accept b series are a dime a dozen. if i smashed my ep, id at least get some monies toward another ep to swap anything that survived on to.
