What makes any of them not compatible? Ive heard that you just need to remove the foam. I would get an aluminum and pull the foam from it. Should be compatible from there...

jegs and summit said all the plastic fuel cells have the o-ring on the filler lid thats not compatible. and yes the foam is a no-no with the e85 just like aluminum is. thats why i posted this. once again im not a noob.

lol you really think that Ethanol is going to completely errode that o-ring upon touching it? Worst case scenario it takes a year to wear out the o-ring (which I highly doubt).... they can be found practically everywhere.

You have to remember companies put stuff like that in the description to protect their **** if they start having gasket failures or w/e else, just like Walbro stated their 255 is not e85 compatible.

Where are you getting your E85 from in your area? Only pump I know of in DE is 1/2mi from my house.

Funny, I have an aluminum tank, aluminum fittings, and aluminum fuel rail, regulator, and E85 doesn't do **** to my parts. Do some more research. Its all that sits in my car.

Relax Sally, I never called anyone a noob but myself. On a constructive note remember when everybody said the e 85 will eat all the rubber lines in your fuel system, just like I said in the other post 3+ years and 400+ passes and the e 85 hasn't eaten them yet. F that o ring. Run it.

E85 is a no no with aluminum eh? Better find a cast iron head, intake manifold, fuel rail, FPR, etc.

Jesus..

We run E85 in EVERYTHING here in Brazil... No problems at all.

The only thing I do is put some 2t oil in the tank once in a while to lubricate the fuel pump and it's all good

If the ethanol DOES have a long term effect on rubber or plastic, by hardening, I would opt for an aluminum tank. Just me though.
