Limited slip LSD ?
I have a 96 accord automatic i wanna u know if I can put a LSD limited slip differential in my auto tranny am pretty sure I can nut just want to double Che k
The automatic transmission differential is different from the manual trans diff, which I suspect is because the AT uses unequal-length axles while the MT has an intermediate shaft. All of the aftermarket diffs that I know of are made for the MT.
You might be able to make something work, but it will take some trial-and-error with a pile of used parts, and possibly some custom fabrication. In addition, disassembling an automatic transmission is not for the faint of heart.
So, the short answer is no. The long answer is that it depends on how much expertise you have and how much time and money you're willing to spend.
