Default VSS Wiring

but im getting confused on what to do, im trying to wire the VSS in my 89 ef si. i know that the ylw,wht wire goes to computer and cluster.

but im trying to find out what to do with the the yly/blu wire . i know it goes to acc power. my question is ive read a few time that u can wire it to the fuse box in number 14 and put a 20amp fuse in, but im confused i installed a 94spec itr cluster in last night works great. the wiring i use said to run the ylw/blu wire to the blk/ylw wire on the cluster (will that work)???

thanks for info

i used this write-up when putting my DC cluster in my '91 hatch:

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/gsr-cluster-pinouts-90-91-crx-pinouts-how-i-need-help-1732102/

Im not 100% sure it's the same for '88-'89s, but its gotta be pretty damn close

good luck
