Compptech Icebox w/ apexi filter
would this yield greater gains due to the design of the cone???
also would it fit?
The second P is the original topic is for "performance"

IMO a filter is a filter
the comptech filter does flow slightly better than most cotton ones....
I'd run that or K/N

My educated guess: both the K&N and the Comptech filters are much larger (appx twice as long) than then Apex filter, which yeilds much more surface area. More surface area = better flow, so stick with the larger filter and you should have better performance.
I remember looking at a home-review of several intakes, and the Apexi won in terms of flow and filtration. I guess it's just a matter of fitment, *shrugs*
