Are you referring to the axle?

That ring on the end of the axle is the culprit. I took the ring off and made the circle a little smaller and inserted the axle back in the transmission. I have done this about 5 axle changes on several peoples cars before. Let us know if this works.

im positive there ain't no ring on the axle halfshaft driver side, because there is no grove for a ring.

The end of the axle that goes into the transmission, examine it again. It should be a ring in a groove at the end. That's what keeps the axle from popping out the transmission when you are driving.

the halfshaft don't need a ring cause three bolts secure the shaft to the engine

Just look at the splines. They may be damaged. Given that there is no ring it should go in easy. You can try gently tapping it in with a rubber mallet.

Good that it works now. For future reference, it's called a Intermediate Shaft, so you don't get others confused by saying half shaft then it makes them think that you're talking about an axle.

this is very true. It is known as the intermediate shaft and should be called by its proper name but at the same time a half shaft is not an axle. We know that our tranny drive axles has 3 portions to it, the axles at the wheels and the intermediate shaft connecting the driver side axle to the tranny.

Yup, some called that intermediate shaft half shaft but to others, it may confused them too and think that they're talking about axles. But its all good.
