5857 should do 550 on race gas, though it may be getting stretched at that point.

other than that 6262

From our experience we made 609HP @ 30psi on our D16 build with the JB 6262 with .82ar turbine housing. The 5857 I think will get you to your goal of 550hp no problem with much better spool.

i ran a d16 last season with the journal bearing 6262sp .063 turbine, its fine

my car made just over 500hp on pump at 29/30psi (lowish figures down to stock inlet mani, and a tiny cast turbo mani) then ran out of injector, never bothered upgrading fuel system as gone B series for this season.

spool was fine, didnt drop boost between gears revving out to 9250, and it carried torque well to 9000 even on the 63ar housing.

hi, well i ran it on the stock cam for a while, and then switched to a zex 59500, no differance in spool up times, but the zex cam carried torque much better at the top revs(no supprise).

spec was simple,

vitaras 75mm
stock sleeves
stock head
stock inlet
cast turbo mani
zex cam
750cc squirters
hondata s300
walbro pump (too small!)
6262sp journal turbo, .063 turbine.

no dyno sheet sorry, dont generally use dyno`s, only took it there to iron out a problem we was having with the boost controler, and did a power run for a giggle.
the car made 132mph@ 1070kgs, falling on its face in 4th as pump out of puff.
