Default Motegi Traklite pics and ?'s

I put some Traklites on the CRX. They are not a hub-centric wheel but the tapered lug nuts of course center the wheels. Through a quick google search I learned that the friction between the rim and hub bares the weight of the car so that the load is not on studs. I can not see how running the plastic 56.15-70.6 hubcentric rings can help anything even though they are recommended. This car routinely sees over 100mph at the track so I just want to make sure these wheels are safe as-is.

Any thoughts?

I finally got in touch with someone who seems to know their stuff. He suggested that I ditch the forged aluminum lug nuts in favor of some good "not Blox" alloy lug nuts, torque them to spec and call it a day.

So thats the plan.

Just as a note:

I currently do not have hubcentric rings on my track car, but I do run RS Watanabe lug nuts, for their load capacity.

If you're experiencing vibrations that re-balancing the wheels do not cure, I would recommend using hubcentric rings.

15X7 35 offset Motegi Traklites with 195/50/15's. They weigh a little over 10 lbs a piece.

Are those Kumho tires actually any good?

By the way, that's a nice garage setup from what I can see there.

Ah, thanks. I had asked because from what I've seen they are fairly cheap.
