hey whats up guys, this is my pride and joy. my 2000 acura integra gs-r, got this car in 2006 when i was 18 and havent slowed down since. first two years i had the car it was my daily/winter everything car, didnt have too much planned for it. first i started off with the usualls intake/header/exhaust/throttle body/intake manifold. car with coilovers when i bought it, they were ebay sleeves, car rode like s**t but i didnt really care cause the stance was right haha. in feb of 08' things were going really good at work and i was getting a tad bored of the car so i went out and bought myself a brand new acura tsx. the era of the teg prety much came to a dead end, i missed having a sportier car, but was enjoying the luxury of the tsx way too much. so i decided to put the teg for sale, few dudes came by but i couldnt seem to get a solid offer on the car. august came by and surprise surprise i got bored of the tsx, dropped the idea of selling the teg, and one of my good homies convinced me to boost it, so i went out bought a peakboost FTW kit, my homie helped me out huge, took the car to his house and he rebuild the block with oem parts, installed the kit and so forth. unfortunetly living in calgary our winters last about 9mnths out of the year, so we finished a bit late in the season i think it was easy december. well he street tuned it for me i drove it for a couple of weeks and was forced to put it away for winter. that winter i had the car resprayed, decided to ditch the leather interior, and went with some jdm recaros (lasted a month before i got sick of them and traded them in for a set of bride zeta sports), got the car back from the body shop, and finished off the suspension, did spoon brakes, found and oem accesorie body kit, and i was satisfied. july 09 we finally find some dyno time..... and to noones surprise the stock gsr block just wasnt up for the job, he called it quits on the dyno. i was mind boggled, i was upset all this hard work myself and homies had put into this thing, and we couldnt even get one nice ride out of it. so i took the car home, put it underneath a car cover, and prety much forgot about it for a couple months. well december came by again, and a homie started pushing me, lets get going on this thing, he came over night after work, and within an hour we had the motor out, and the whole engine bay stripped. he convinced me to shave it and do a mild tuck on it. i wasnt too crazy about it because i still wanted to keep some of the luxurios feautures of the car. i thought about it for awhile and finally was ok with the fact that this is going to become a car that i take out only when i feel like going fast, not being comfortable, so out went the p/s, abs, cruise control, a/c, and so forth. car went into 3 different body shops and 6 different paint jobs under the hood before i was satisfied, its not that im extremely picky, its just that to all the body shops, it was just an engine bay and to me it wasnt, i wanted it to be a show peice. so in the mean time while we were waiting on bodyshops, i got a dart block, brand new type r head, sent it out had it ported and polished, oversize valves....(parts list will be below with pics) so finally in may of 10', the teg finally came home, and lucky i got some good friends who helped out above ane beyond, we worked on this thing every night for 2 months, and no details were left behind. july 10 car went back to the dyno, put down 368 on 12 pounds, the tuner was having problems with the boost controlled so we left it at that until things got figured out. finally i was driving the car and having a blast, all the hard work had paid off, no major problems this year, other than the block isnt being vented propely, so it keeps blowing out oil pan gaskets, that will be fixed for 11' with either an endyne breather kit, or a T1 race development oil catch can. the other issue was the exhaust which didnt have a long enough flex pipe in it, and caused the studs on the head to keep breaking off, so i had to keep ripping the manifold off and replacing the studs, other than that this is the first winted where ive put the car away and i know i dont have a lot to do so it can be ready for next summers. sorry for the long story haha, i hope you guys enjoy please leave a comment.

plans for 2011 are, a synapse top mount kit with a gt3576r, proper venting for the engine, a rear diffuser, bigger injectors, maybe more aggresive wheels but i doubt ill be able to part ways with the te's, and gotta figure out something with the tranny, i love the type-r tranny but its just geared way too closely.
gotta thank the following people which without this would've been a lot harder: allanc, ptan, sheldong, jlaw, rockyp, jasonw, adrianp, claytonl, gorank, sasak, markob (anyone else i might be missing im sorry)
enjoy!

Love the car, but most of all... I love how nice the front bumper opening is setup. I really admire proper bodywork, when people cut the opening out for the standard DC2 bumper. It looks like it came that way from factory.
I would like to see a Mugen wing on the car, to really set the setup off. But, that's me dreaming.

Goodluck with your future plans for this car. Its already sick as it is. Just the minor motor problems you need to work on. Other than that ITS AN ANIMAL!

WoW! thanks for all the positive comments guys, please do keep them coming. car hasnt seen track time yet, as something goes wrong with the car when theres a track day. next year im hoping to get a lot of track time. when i built the car i tryed to focus on making it an all around car, not just a drag car, not just road course car, i wanted to make it an all around car, and hopefully this year we'll get to put that to the test. keep the comments coming guys. thanks!
