1995 accord v6 oil pan gasket
i am leaking a lot of oil from the gasket so ive decided to change it... however ive never changed a gasket on my car... is there anyone out there who could possibly help me with what to do? some people have said its very difficult, others said it was easy as hell....
depends on whether or not the pan will come off with the engine in the car. most likely it will. all you do it drain the oil, remove all the bolt holding it on, clean both surfaces of all old gasket material and sealant, then install with new gasket with black silicone in any joints or corners and torque using the factory pattern and spec. about 10 ft-lbs
also, what about an hour before adding the oil back.

so i did some more looking around while i had the car jacked up... and i found that the actual gushing oil leak is either coming from the "seal" (if there even is a seal there) in between the two red arrows in the picture.... OR its actually leaking from above that part (not sure what part it is thou) that is connected to the oil filter.... any suggestions? i attached the picture

this may not be the issue, but that oil filter looks way too small for the sealing surface diameter. make sure that's the correct filter so that you have adequate contact area with the gasket and the filter mounting base.

thanks for the replies guys its really helping me out... i had already looked at the filter and although it looks really small its not leaking at all from the filter itself... i had my buddy take a look at it.. and he thinks it is leaking from the Oil Filter housing unit... but still could use some suggestions from anyone else... since if it is the housing unit... im going to need some advice on how to replace that ? =( i appreciate it everyone
There is a rubber O-ring that goes between the oil filter base and the engine block. It's a common leak point on both the F22 4-cylinder and the C27 V6.
The V6 oil filter base O-ring is actually a "double O-ring," in that it looks like two O-rings joined together. The part number is 91318-PY3-000; price is a little over $10.

Please let me know what you find out. I have the same problem that I'm trying to figure out on my 95 Accord V6. It leaks a lot when I first start the car in cold weather, then the leak minimize to a small drop every 5 second when the engine is warm.
so... i found the leak... it was coming from the "seal" in between the oil filter housing unit and the engine... sorry not very technical.. but replaced it and no more leaking... thank you everyone for your responses
Did you replace yourself or did you take it to a shop? How much did they charge if you did? Was the leak coming from between the arrow that you had marked before? I cleaned the area yesterday and it seems that mine is coming from the hex bolt right above to the left where you marked the arrow. It comes out a lot only when I first start the car in the cold weather, then drop continues but small drops every 5 seconds. any help would be great.
