any input on these? are they worth spending the $$$ on them if not i got a guy who will mod my stock ones for $100

 

I dont see a issue with them, they arent any better then moded OEM top hats.

My friend has them, I had them, never had any issues with them.

hell, they look the same as GC top hats, just without the sticker.

 

They're made of softer metal, very similar to the material used on ebay coilover sleeves. The studs are a softer grade as well.

Is that $100 for all 4 or 2? I got a couple I've been looking for someone to extend. Group discount lol?

I don't doubt the studs being a lower grade, but I would see if you can prove the metal being different.

When my friend got his they were $110 for 4.

 

i orders some, they where delivered but i havent opened them yet. ill report back on quality and bolt grade.

 

hey ill respond to this post.! i bought some from ebay. the metal is junk.. they were cracked when i took them out of the box. yes cracked before i ever touched them.!!!had to send back wasting a bunch of time...so anyways spent a few hours putting them in ..took it for a ride and heard grinding from somewhere.spent a few more hours taking them out ! wasted my time and money i quess? one thing i didnt install was ..the big white thing? goes on the strut ..i think it keeps them from bottming out..its long and seemed to long ? all i know there sitting in the boxes still

 

i might try one more install down the road with the white absorbers ...instructions would be helpful to.

That would be the bump stop.
Out the few that I have seen, I've never heard any grinding noises, is it possible you messed something up?

You did forgot the bump stop, which is kind of hard to miss.
