To much current draw on the circuit. They should be wired on There own circuit I belive they requier a realy for those fogs don't quote me on the relay part cuz I'm not 100% sure. But you could always use a higher amp fuse too

Yes wire them to a new switch. And use a fuse for them.

I would use a 30 amp at most... and make sure you have them wired correctly

I have mine wired to my high beams. So instead of high beams my fogs turn on..

I found this sight awhile back for a friend and it worked for him. This would probably be the best way to wire up your fogs so there on there own circuit. Best of Luck.

First: that is not the proper way to wire up fog lights. Fogs draw several times more current than corner lights.

Second: Even if you put a 30amp fuse in, the wiring isn't rated for the amount of current fog lights draw.

Third: Use a relay, there is a reason why ALL OEMs use relays for headlights and foglights

Fourth: Look up the wiring diagram for correct wiring.

Fifth: Good Luck

If you put a bigger fuse in the place of the one that is blowing you will take a chance on burning the wiring harness because it is allowing the circuit to draw to many amps.

i tried connecting the fogs to a seperate switch...but they still wont work...i bought a pre-made wiring kit an extra relay and it came with a switch...i wired everything up and they worked for a bit till i turned them off... heres how i wired it...from the fogs it goes to the relay, then to the switch, then to the batt i used the instructions i got in this thread...for some reason the fuse holder got really hot and melted...but the fuse didnt burnout...do i need a bigger fuse and wire??? the fuse that came with the wiring kit was a 15 amp...i need sugestions on this...i know i need a bigger fuse but what bout wiring...thanks guys
