What's special about 200whp?

Magic number?

I'd highly recommend you get a better header. SMSP, bisimoto, RMF, hytech, etc. Your goals will be a lot easier.

And if I'm not mistaken the b16 has a smaller TB than the b18c1/c5. A bigger throttle body will also help a lot too.

I also heard that the Pro Series IM makes more power than the old version?

Randy doesn't build them anymore with the RMF logo. What made you choose his header anyway? Are you "building" this motor after reading the more popular threads? I seriously think you should just stop posting, stop making threads, and read. And when you're about to ask a question, pause, go back and read some more. EVERY question you have has been discussed and debated about 50 times over. By reading the older threads, it will help prevent you from buying into false information. Theres a buncha fanboys and newjacks in here that know it ALL and they are gonna blow so much smoke up your *** it's ridiculous. They're just gonna talk about 12:1 compression, the biggest camshaft under the sun, and of course...the infamous 200 ****IN horsepower.

Just read guy, please. You'll make more power for less money and will learn more than these kids that preach 200 horsepower and high compression.

its no poor mans r wihtout the type r cams. and the usdm p73 A0 pistons run a slightly lower compression than the jdm p73 00 pistons. swap those, get some cams, and 200 should not be far off. then get a better flowing exhaust, bigger t/b and upgrade your fuel system

OP: acl racing bearing are not needed in your build... OE bearing have been proven to do very well, and if you would have searched for 10 secs. you would have seen this. your header is a huge restriction as well is your 60mm stock throttle body. at least bump to a itr 62mm.. imo id get 68mm omni.. cams have to at least be itr cams or ctr cams, i believe sk2 Pro1's are a lil bigger then itr?? as a matter of fact also your IM is pretty much a stock itr manny.. go to sk2 pro series IM. if you dont care what i have taken the time to say then screw you.. in my current build my goal is set for 300 for next year, leaving the b series going to k..

bump cause the build you are doing many people have done. You are wasting your money on parts you don't need. Listen too what clean rice says. There is a reason his motors make power.
