Hey guys I'm workin on my d16z6 for a while and everytin is finally fixed I wana start givin it some power what good upgrades can I do to it

 

Build it for boost, or toss it for a DOHC if you wanna make more than 160whp (unless you have gobs of money you can throw at it to make it a all-motor SOHC build).

 

BOOST!!!

i gave all motor high compression a shot even with 93 octane and less than stock timing it busted a ring landing in 500 miles toss the junk for dohc or cheap boost and start buying up spare engines for when it pops haha..

No power there. Boost or swap.

 

I think boost is your best bet for making power out of that d16z6. A simple turbo kit could do the job probably. They say tuning is the most important when going with f/i. If I were you I would definitely check complete turbo kits out, or maybe try to piece a kit myself. check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com you might find some useful information on there.
