Default Ran for two days after replacing battery.

Replaced the battery because it refused to start in the cold weather, Once I replaced it, the radio stopped working. Got the radio working and now the car doesnt start again. It acts like it has power, but once I try and start it, it acts like its completely drained. I can turn the key back to accessories and the power will flash on and off a couple times then go back to dead, and randomly get power again. But once I try and start it again, the same thing happens. Figure it has to be something electrical, just don't really know where to start. Absolutely lost, any suggestions?

A good start would be to check all your fuses and your ground wires,
then test your alternator.

I would bypass the solenoid first with a screwdriver. could be a bad solenoid. judging from working on fords though not hondas. solenoids are WAY cheaper than alternators.

You are 100% retarded. Don't go and tell him it's his alternator when he hasn't even check his grounds/fuses yet.

I'm not saying it can't be the Alt but the Alternator is there to help charges the battery once a car has been running and the Alt provides power to all the accesories as it is making all that magnetic field. The battery is what starts a car; not the Alt. To be sure the battery is still good is by turning on the headlights, if it's still pretty bright, I'd say the battery is good and move onto something else.

I don't know. It almost sounded like it's a bad ground somewhere. OP, if you have a multimeter, I'd use it to check the voltage on the new battery when the car is off. It should be around 12.6v.

Check for these things:

1. A loose battery cable terminal connection.
2. A bad ground.
3. A faulty ignition switch contact assembly.

Does the clock reset every time you try to turn on the power, or does it keep correct time?

Throwing money at your problem is never the way to go. Always start with the cheap easy tests/fixes.
some people have more money than sense. usually if the alt is bad,the charge light will be on. for you newbs, the charge light is the one that looks like a battery. it doesnt always mean its the battery though. but definately check cheap simple stuff like grounds and fuses 1st.
