HKS AFR
Hello everyone,
I have a 07 Civic EX with DC Sports Cat, Headers, and a K&N short intake. I am trying to slightly modify my a/f mixture, and I found a controller that is meant for it but I am stuck on which one to purchase.
The HKS AFR: http://www.autocarparts.com/part/1886/0/
However, there are two types: Type:L, and Type:D.
It says to Use w/Air Flow Meter, what does that mean?
and type D says to use with pressure sensor. I am stuck on what to purchase? What do both of those mean?
Thanks!!

The model for use with flow meter is for vehicles with a mass air flow sensor, the other for models with a manifold pressure sensor. This is a poor way of making fuel adjustments because it simply modifies the air flow signal to the ECU forcing it to read higher in the fuel maps. Unfortunately, in doing so it will also force it to read from a different area of the timing maps which you don't want to do.
Your best option for your car is the Hondata Flashpro. It will allow full adjustment (just incase you do more mods in the future) and comes with many different basemaps you can start with. However, it is a little more expensive ( Retails for $695 )
