Can't shift into gear
I have a 91 integra with a stage 1 exedy. I accelerated pretty quickly onto the freeway to catch up with traffic one day and after I exited and came to a light it got pretty difficult to shift it into gears. Park on the side thinking my clutch cable might of been loose I checked and tighten it a little but didn't help. Since I was only about a mile from home I continued driving hoping I can make it. Right before I reach the house it would not shift into gear anymore while the car is on. I pulled the clutch out and the springs was loose and seems like it was rubbing and the throw bearing was damage.
I have replaced it with a new exedy stage 1 clutch, new trans fluid (10w30), and resurface flywheel but I still have the same problem. The only thing I can think of is time for a new transmission and hopefully that is the problem.
What can it be that is causing this?

I"m just gonna take the trans apart and figure out what went wrong. Since this is my first time ever doing this anyone have any suggestions what to look for or what the culprit could be? Been reading the stickys and I am confident that I can do it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Are your hydrualics still going good? Could possible not getting enough pressure to fully release the clutch.
Also possibly something inside the trans chipped, maybe a gear tooth chipped and worked its way into something and got jammed, thats what id look for. But before i really went into taking it apart, usually there is something simple that caused the issue. Id def check to make sure you are getting proper release, ie hydrualic lines arent all cracked and causing them to expand resulting in less release.

wakeningsilence, its not a hydro set up, its cable. As for the tranny, when u have it out spin the input shaft, If its really hard to spin or dosent spin freely at all than theres something broken inside of it, also shift through each gear when u have it out and spin through it. If one of the gears are broken you can hear it when u spin while you are in that gear. If the Input shaft dosent feel firm and can basically move around in a little circle than you need a new input bearing. As for opening it up there is a forum on here that shows you how, i recommend you finding it and fallowing the steps. GL
My buddy had a cable tranny in his coupe a while back, and it felt like there was a brick wall that refused shifting. We adjusted a few things, like cables and stuff, and fixed it...
