Default what is a fair price for down pipe? **PIC**

So, I have an apexi turbo kit. It has a 2 piece down pipe. The first is the cast elbow then bolts to a 2" down pipe. The turbo flang is a IHI flange with nobody seems to have in stock. I've given up on trying to find one or have a custom one made. So I've decided to just keep the stock cast ELBOW but enlarge the bottom section of my down pipe.

Here is an exmaple of greddy b series 2" down pipe vs. 2.5" pipe

Question:
How much should I expect to pay for 2.5" down pipe with 5-6" section flex pipe & 2 o2 bungs?

I just don't want to get ripped off. I don't think it should cost very much cause it's not like I'm having some fancy bend directly from the turbo.

I'm pretty sure I have an IHI flange on file and can cut you one if you aren't in a big rush.

It might not seem that is alot of work to make that dp, but it can take up to 1-2hr to do a quality job. So if you get away with under $300 for a full stainless steel mandrel bent tubing and stainless flanges, I think you done good.

well this is the flange of the turbo

Here is my through process.
This turbo tops out at about 280whp (14-16psi).

I would prefer to have a new flang cut and make a custom 1 piece down pipe ONLY IF it's not too much more expensive.

For example, if keeping the stock elbow and getting custom 2.5" downpipe is say $175
I really wouldn't want to spend more than $250ish on a complete 1 piece downpipe.

if someone can cut the correct flang PM me price shipped.
I've pretty much given up on the idea of replacing the ELBOW, but you never know.

At this point i just want a 2.5" downpipe(after elbow) which will help me hit 280ish whp. lol

Why not replace the elbow and all? Did it on my greddy kit, It made a very large difference on spool and top end. the flange is a gt25 5 bolt flange.

I am sure someone in here can fab you up a stainless downpipe for under 300 that is what they usually go for with a log manifold and it seems like it would take the same amount of materials and labor to make both. The only issue would be the flange.

yes greddy garrett turbos share the same t25/t28 flanges but apexi uses IHI turbos which by looking at it, looks very similar but when you match it up 2 of the bolts and 1 corner of the flange is off by a few degrees. ... i tired.

well someone was able to make me a downpipe(2.5", flex, 2 o2 bung) with correct flange for $275 shipped I'm game and can pay in advance, i just need it by 2-15.

I agree.
I have seen dynos which show the elbow is very restrictive and hurts your top end.

I was able to mock mine up with some mandrel bent 2.5 for a perfect fit. i tacked it up and then was going to send it off for tig welding. Most fab guys have the block an many common manifolds and turbos but without the exact ones pretty hard to mock up without manifold and turbo. btw i just mig welded mine. next time i think i will pay for a hour of tig welding.
