If you use Rota C8 or Kosei K1 w/ R compound, would you use these?

They're Konig Heliums. I bought a set hoping to use them when I eventually graduate to racing tires for HPDEs (and maybe WCHC later on?
. I'm sure they would be great with Azenis, which will be my next set, but I'm having second thoughts whether they would hold up w/ R tires.
Pretty light, under 11 lb. for 15x6.5 according to the manufacturer. I also heard that Konigs are made by Rota but have no confirmation. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Panasports are nowhere near that light. My 13x7 Ultralights are closer to 11 or 12 pounds. Which is a few pounds lighter than my 13x7 Diamonds.
I was just concerned that they may not be beefy enough to handle the cornering load or stress, since they are cast and not forged. I guess time will tell.
I know people who use lighter rims than those. Panasports are like 6lbs
ah.... but what about 3-piece modulars? I believe the 13x8.5 3 piece wheels that I have are about 9lbs maybe a hair more. With a 225/45/13 tire mounted the whole combo weighed out to 25lbs! According to Hoosier Tom the 225/45/13 Hoosiers weigh about 16 lbs... so 9lbs sounds about right to me.
[EDIT] : As for would I run this wheel? Unfortunatly I would run a wider wheel than a 6.5 . what size tires? I'm a big fan of 15x7s and 15x7.5s... but again it depends on alot of factors.

The only issue is that they're 6.5". At some point you'll probably find yourself wishing they were wider. If that's a trade-off you're willing to make to save some money now, then they're fine.

Unless you are very well off and have money to burn then I would probably go with a wider wheel. This assumes, of course, that going with a wider wheel is legal within the class of racing that you're interested in... this is a VERY important point. Buying a great 8 inch wide wheel then trying to go autocrossing in STS will leave you a little disappointed.
Note : uh... your note was noted!!!
Note: I was overexagerating
I run my heliums as my street wheel and for autoX as I did half this season in STS...but I will be running an 8in wide wheel next year...hopefully
I specifically chose my Kosei's over Rota's and such because of that extra half inch.
But, the style is nice, and I'm sure they'd be fine under cornering loads.

I've seen Spec Miatas use these as racing wheels. Probably depends on the weight of your car. What you got?

Thanks for all the replies.
