hello all i am installing a walbro in my wagon and i am using the install kit but the pump doesnt want to sit back in the tank with the filter sitting sideways?

why does the filter sit sideways in the tank theres like a little tub it hits ?

does any one have pics off an assembled one ?

do people have to force it in the tank? mine seems like i have to push it down to start the bolts
