Okay, I have a POS automatic 94 TEG LS. It sucked *** and the paint was faded like a ****. I sold it to my cousin who was in love with it.(he had a nissan sentra so he's happy...LOL) I was going to get a SSBP GSR, but I am only 18 and have no credit and NO cosigner. I was thinking to drive this car around for about a year or so, and save some cash, sell it, and get the GSR and in that years time build a lil credit Car is for sale for 4K without turbo, and 5400.00 with the turbo. Car is 1993 CIVIC SI with 82,000 original miles on the car. FLAWLESS, repainted 4 months ago (needs to be buffed out) Everything is GREAT witht the car. This car is about 2300 miles away but lucky for me , my aunts father is in the trucking and transporting business and I can get this car shipped to me for free. What do you guys think? I posted here cause I'm a TEG guy and have been since DAY 1 on H-T. Car has T3 Turbo. As you can see in the pics , there is NO TURBO on the car just the FMIC. Car has never been turboed. He was thinking aboutit but too much money involved and decided not to put it on. Here are some pics.....

So what do you guys think? I'm not really a hatch guy cause I'm pretty big 6foot 2inches, 230lbs. Just the fact that this car will HAUL has me drooling..

 

not a bad deal....i mean u see SI hatch aorund here going for 4000 all the time and all the work on the turbo is done

but its risky....it may be ragged out and u cant really go and check it out on a big time basis (your own mechanic etc.)

 

hmm, really? Maybe I can get him to come down a bit on the price but I doubt it. I am going to buy this car though. He is holding it for me. What do you think I should ask of him? I was thinking 3500 without turbo and like 4500 WITH...

why dont you look at other car other than a honda, i know this is a honda board but...look into like a 240sx or something like a mr2....

if your gonna buy any car make sure you buy it from a grandma or an enthuiast that way the car's been taken care of

I wouldn't get that Si..... but it's your call and if you think that it wasn't ragged out then go for it. If you want a turbo car that is cheap and fast from the factory, just get a DSM. They can be had pretty cheap, but you had better watch out for the tranny. They aren't that durable.

 

damn im selling my car for $6500 give or take (big maybe)

and it HAS a turbo and it has a DOHC GSR!

I'm not a nissan fan at all. The main reason why I wanted this car is because it's soo clean. The fact that it's across the country isn't a factor at all considering I can get it shipped to me for FREE. Brand new Paint. 82k, A/C, 5speed. What more can a POS previous teg owner without A/C for a whole year in 115 degree weather ask for? Catch my drift?

 

i know the guy that he's buying that car from and the intercooler is in there b/c he was just about to install a turbo on it...but decided to go another route with another car.... on the **** talkers

*you're lucky to find such a good deal....that car would have been mine if everything would have worked out as i wanted it to a few weeks ago..

id say at least 5g's WITH turbo....but i wouldnt buy it....i just coudlnt send 5g's and not see the car first....but ehh some people can and thats cool

 

just curious but what are your reasons for not being a fan of nissan, just wondering i'm not tryin to be an *** about it

o btw i live in lake havasu so i know about 115 degree heat with no a/c
its like you need to recline the seat back because your back starts to sweat to much.....thank jeebus its gonna get cooler soon
