i have a 1992 accord and i had an h22a motor in it with a chipped ecu. I blew the bottom end of the block and now i bought a h22a1 complete motor. The only thing wrong with the motor is the exhaust valves, they need to be changed. So I was going to change the exhaust valves and put it in my car. I got an offer for the motor. The guy is offering me a 98 h22a4 type S block, lsd trans, attS unit (which I dont even know what that is?), and a stage 3 clutch... Is that offer ok? What would I have to do to hook all that up? lol. Its just confusing to me because my car is obd1 and the wire harness is already setup for obd1, and the h22a4 he's offering me is obd2, so Idk if the harness that I have now will work, or if I would have to get a new harness? plz someone help. And does the h22a4 block Vtec?

 

stick with the h22a1. the h22a4 type s and that trans will do us no good with our cb7 chassis.

 

Yup. Either the base H22A4, H22A1, or the JDM H22A.
