I had the same noise problem. I think it's actually the pipes
(don't remember which ones) that are coming in contact
when I get around to 2-3 rpms. I would agree that
underneath the pan gets contact too. I took mine off today
and saw a burn mark on top of the pipe that rests under the oil pan.
