water pump help

Default water pump help

Ok i have a 88-91 ef hatch dont know what year is it. Jus got the car for free. Ok the water pump is bad on it n i dont know if its a obd0 or obd1 motor single cam in there. My main question is the water pump the same from obd0 to obd1 single cam? Thanks.

look at the block code. use the water pump from that block.

easiest way to tell if its OBD1 or 0 is to look at the o2 sensor, if it has 1 wire, its most likely obd0, if its a 4 wire, its obd1.

I also had another question. The axle from my passager side seems to keep pulling out from the axle seal about a inch n i can push it back in. What u guys think that could b. I fill it up n now its not leaking no more, but that seem to b the problem y it doesnt have any tranny fuild before. Theres was alot of leaks by the tranny.. Its kinda hard to get it into gears before i added t/fuild.

It may need a new axle. I had a problem with my motor doing the same thing. Turns out autozone was making the axles wrong and they were about an inch shorter causing it to pop out.
