92-95 eg tranny into 97 civic

im just wondering if the tranny from a 92-95 civic eg would fit into a 97 civic lx with a zc longblock sohc (equivalent to the stock d16y7). appreciate the help and thanks.

5 Speed yes, automatic no.

cool just saved me some time and money. what kinda transmission would fit into an automatic thats as described?

guess i should make sure i mention that the 92-95 civic eg transmission is from an automatic and my 97 civic is an automatic. just to be clear.
