Icon2 Making harness for d16z6 swap

Vehicle info: 88 civic hatch dpfi obd0

I have 2 questions....1st is that im getting a (auto) engine harness froma member on here and my vehicle is manual. Will this work? Im guessing it will be 1 or 2 trans sensors left over unused?

2nd question is what all extra wires, clips, sensors will i need to source from the d16z6 harness? cause im going to the junk yard to grab all of them.

I went today and grabed the injector clip to wire in the injectors, the fan switch still attached to the t-stat housing i grabbed.

What else do I need like vtec stuff, im unsure exactly what i need. And all but the vtec wiring does it have to be from a d16z6? Like the injector wires n connectors?

If anyone can post pics so I know what im looking at when I go to the junk yard it would be perfect. Plus whats a thread without pics? I will post what i grab form the yard btw.

Year/make/model of your car?
DPFI to MPFI?
Converting to OBD1?
What ECU?

If your car is already MPFI and you are going to use a P28 you can retain your injectors from your engine and keep the resistor box. Or if you want to use the P28's you can grab those clips from a 92-95 Civic, 92-95 Integra and delete the resistor box.

Get the VTEC solenoid connector and VTEC pressure switch connector.

Also the fan switch plug is on the thermostat housing as opposed to the back of the block so get that connector as well. Its the same round connector as the VTEC pressure switch.

use your stock CRX engine harness and just get the OBD0 > OBD1 ECU conversion harness and distrubutor conversion harness.

the vtec you simply wire it yourself to the ECU conversion harness (contains a VTEC subharness)

check rywire / boomslang / pherable / ebay

Do I need a injector resistor box for this d16z6 motor? And if not how do I wire in the injectors? I was searching a found this write up (http://hondaswap.com/swap-articles/d...writeup-49557/) but its for a mpfi conversion using obd0 I will be using the obd1 ecu and jumper harness.
