Icon2 Dash lights and tailights help

I have a 91 EF hatch and all of the sudden the dash and taillights stopped working. I have tried to replace to fuse several times and it works for a few seconds and blows. I figure I have a short somewhere but I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions as to where a good place to start looking would be or if anything else could cause that.

check the radio harness...there is an illumination wire there than can short on the metal brackets. if that's not it, i would check the corner light harnesses and the tail lights for any obvious wire issues.

had a similar problem last week that didn't involve blowing fuses though. replaced the whole headlight stitch on the steering column fixed the problem.
