I have a 93 honda del sol if i hop in and drive the car will not shift in to second gear or shifts very hard. if i start the car about a half hour before i need to drive than it shifts with no problem but has bad acceleration i have my doubts that the transmission is the problem im leaning more towards a vacume leak or a cat problem new to honda any suggestion?

 

Have you tried flushing transmission fluid?

 

tranny flush would be the first thing id do and go from there
