Questions that have stumped all.
Ok so this Thread for people to post questions that have stumped them for a long time. You search and search for an answer on how to fix something or how to do something and never can find it. You ask on here or other sites and it takes a while to get an answer. Help us all out with rare problems that are not/wasn't the easiest to solve. State the problem and solution.
This is the whole concept of the forum. You have a problem, you start a thread. Then if someone else later has an issue, they "should" search and find the same thread which will hopefully state the solution. By doing what you are saying to do here in this thread, you'll make it that much harder to search for it because now the thread is non specific.

because the car commonly referred to an "EF" when speaking of the JDM/EDM models. since everyone wants JDM parts, then you search for "EF" parts. Since this has gone on for over a decade, it became easier to search for "EF" parts since we're just about the only country that has the chasis code "ED". so in essence, both "ED" and "EF" are right since they're the same car
well I made my screenname before i learned alot about my car and the history of hondas... So this is what everyone i knew called them so thats what it is. But I has found a EF8 (CRX) for sale in Japan and I'm working on figuring out everything that i need to do to get it. Its only 1250 USD but the shipping is what im having a problem with.
Our cars also have an EE body chassis code. Nobody really gets the honda Chassis codes right for any of the cars. Everybody just uses the JDM chassis code instead. Stating the wrong Chassis codes only becomes a problem when you start talking about things specific to the Japanese models like the engine bay on an EF9 and the engine bay on an ED6. The EF9 has a bigger bay to accommodate the bigger DOHC motor that goes in it.
I know it was a joke but after I first joined I thought it really was an EF but honestly I regret my ScreenName being this. So whether joke or not I think I still think that people should know and understand the history of there car.

Some of the companies I've checked out are anywhere from 3000 to 6000 USD. I'm also checking the rules on Customs it doesn't seem too hard to do but I dont want to get STIFFED. But like I said I won't buy anything till I can put my hands and eyes on it.
Customs aren't that bad but there is alot of paperwork to be done and fees that are required. With that said the car has the pass emissions and if it doesn't you better be able to fix it so it can. If you can't fix it then it will be exported or destroyed. But it is easier for US Military to get a car here than for a normal citizen so hopefully maybe ill get stationed there. But just read about it because its really interesting even if you don't do it.
